Joe Bertram, III
11th Representative District
Joe Bertram III is a lifelong south Maui resident. He became an activist in response to a planned 4 lane road through his coastal community. Inspired by his experience on the bike path along the Charles River in Boston, he began to actively promote a greenway instead.
As a result he became politically involved in multiple runs for county office. He was elected to the state House of Representatives in 2006 and served several terms.
